CAM’s (Certified Anger Management )
This program Is facilitated by a CAMS-I (Certified Anger Management Specialist-I with the National Anger Management Association ( NAMA)- Anger Management Classes/Educational Services - Some anger management participants are court mandated to take classes as a condition of probation, or by their employer.
These are individuals who generally are not seeking traditional mental health services, but rather an educational approach. Their freedom and/or livelihood may depend on the completion of a recognized anger management program or classes. This program is modified from the original to allow for plain language learning, in small group or one on one settings.
Once completed, the member will receive a letter of participation and Completion. 24 hours total of learning for small groups, inquire about individual program facilitation.
AMER (Anger Management & Emotional Regulation)
This program is facilitated by a certified Anger Management Specialist-1 with the National Anger Management Association (NAMA) Everyone feels angry sometimes, but not everyone has the tools to handle it in positive ways. Our 12-session Anger Management & Emotional Regulation Program is designed for people with intellectual and physical disabilities to build confidence, self-control, and stronger relationships.
Each session includes easy-to-follow activities: recognizing feelings, calming the body, thinking clearly, speaking up assertively, and solving problems constructively. Participants practice skills that help them feel valued and capable, not just “managed.”
The program provides scripts, handouts, and evaluation tools, making it simple for trainers, counsellors, and support staff to use. Tried and tested, this resource supports people to take charge of their emotions, grow in self-confidence, and strengthen their place in the community.
12 Sessions
Managing My Emotions
This class is all about learning how to understand and manage your feelings in positive ways. Together, we will explore six main emotions—Happy, Surprised, Calm, Sad, Angry, and Afraid—and talk about the different feelings that come with them.
Each week, you’ll take part in activities that make it easier to:
- Recognize emotions in yourself and others
- Practice coping tools that help you calm down and think clearly
- Share experiences and learn new strategies with peers
- Build confidence in expressing feelings in healthy ways
The class uses worksheets, discussions, and creative exercises to make learning fun and practical. You’ll leave with real tools you can use every day to feel more in control, improve communication, and handle challenges with confidence.
This program is designed for youth and adults who prefer plain language instruction. and who want to grow their independence, strengthen relationships, and be seen as capable and valued in their community. Certificate of completion upon completing the program.

Emotional Intelligence at a Glance – Class
Emotional Intelligence (sometimes called EI or EQ) is the skill of understanding your own feelings and the feelings of others—and then using that awareness to make positive choices. This class helps adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities build the confidence and tools they need to handle life’s challenges, grow independence, and strengthen relationships.
Over the program, you’ll explore 12 key skills step by step, including:
- Knowing yourself: Self-awareness, recognizing emotions, and self-control
- Personal growth: Stress management, staying motivated, and being flexible
- Connecting with others: Empathy, social awareness, and clear communication
- Building relationships: Problem-solving and managing friendships positively
- Leadership skills: Inspiring, guiding, and influencing others with respect
Each session is interactive, with discussions, worksheets, and real-life practice to make the learning fun and practical. By the end, you’ll have strategies you can use every day to feel more in control, build stronger connections, and be seen as capable and valued in your community.
